Seeburg 1000 is a mechanical device created back in the 1950’s which used vinyl records to play background music in establishments around the world.
How come I haven’t heard the music before?
The music hasn’t been played for decades. We brought it back from abandonment and made it available and created a public awareness of its existence.
What is the music like?
The music is predominantly instrumental with various tempos. We have samples in our front page and in our Music Section.
Where was the music played?
Seeburg 1000 music was played in restaurants, lounges, factories, and offices.
Can I buy this music?
Yes. We have CDs, an LP, and digital downloads available as well as future releases coming out.
When was the Seeburg music recorded?
The Seeburg music was recorded in the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s and 1980’s. The last record sets were sent out in 1986.
